Angela Feltner  Secretary 2016-2019  We are saddened to announce that Angela passed away in April, 2019.  She was a faithful board member and we will miss her.   Ms. Feltner was an educator from Leslie County. Her background in education and youth contributed to the AHC decisions about therapy, youth programs, and horsemen education. Ms. Feltner was founder of the Leslie County 4-H Horse Club in 2017.  She owned two horses which were her pride and joy.

Bernice Amburgey  Treasurer  Ms. Amburgey is a retired Army Corps of Engineers supervisor and lives in Knott County. She has been a small equine business owner, owner of multiple horses, and active in the Knott County community and the Farm Bureau.

Clifton Hudson  Board Member  Mr. Hudson lives in Breathitt County and is a horseman who free-roams his horses with permission on a landowner’s property. He is also a farmer who works at the University of Kentucky Extension Office. He brings to the AHC board a strong connection to the local horsemen, and an understanding of responsible free-roaming of horses.

Ginny Grulke  Executive Director and Board Member  Ms. Grulke is the retired Executive Director of the Kentucky Horse Council and is active in a number of equine nonprofits. She has also been a small business owner and brings a wide range of contacts within the equine industry and in state agencies.

Nathan Boggs  Board Member  Mr. Boggs, a resident of Harlan County, works as Executive Director of Laurel Mission. He serves as Board Member and Secretary of Harlan County Farm Bureau. He is a small business owner, and has 15 years of hands on involvement with free roaming horse in Southeastern Kentucky.
